In response to the call for starter packs for Syrian refugees families arriving to the Derry City and Strabane district council in the coming months, we at the NWMF are looking for support from the migrant community, friends and we’ll wishers to help those 10 families by contributing a minimum of £10 to buy essential things such as food stuff and toiletries for them when they arrive to the city. They will be arriving here with practically nothing and we want to help them.
We hope you will join us to make their transition to a new country memorable. £ 10 is nothing compared to the contribution it will make towards welcoming these families and showing them that we care. If you live in the Derry and Strabane district council area you can also drop your contribution to our office anytime from 9.00am -5pm every Monday to Friday. We would appreciate your contribution by the 20th of February 2016.
