North West Migrants Forum

Series of events lined up for April Social Cafés

A busy programme of events has been put together for the April sessions of the North West Migrants Forum’s Social Cafés.

Our popular Social Cafés will now run on Wednesdays and Thursdays as opposed to the previous Tuesday and Thursday format. And Co-ordinator Ei-Mon Thant has created a list of activities for the coming weeks, kicking off on Wednesday April 10 with a ‘Therapeutic Colouring Class’.

The session runs from 2pm to 5pm and this would be ideal for parents who want to bring their little ones along after school. All materials will be provided as will all the usual snacks and drinks.

On Thursday April 11 everyone – regardless of gender, age or ability – is being encouraged to pull on their trainers and join in a gym and exercise session with fitness expert Cuthy. It will be a light exercise class but it will also be the ideal opportunity to stretch those muscles while meeting new friends. The class runs from 4pm to 5.30pm. Again, refreshments will be provided.

Both activities will take place in the North West Migrants Forum, third floor, Embassy Building, Strand Road, Derry, BT48 7BH. Everyone is welcome to our Social Cafés and if you have any questions call Ei-Mon on 02871 362184.

Call in, we would love to see you!
