North West Migrants Forum

North West Migrants Forum (NWMF) is the only organisation of its kind in the north west region of Northern Ireland with a long track record of delivering effective programmes to support migrant, black and ethnic minoritised people who are rarely centred when it comes to service provision and health and well-being programmes.

NWMF is an independent charity registered in Northern Ireland (Registered charity number: NIC 107318). The organisational structure is comprised of seven trustees who operate within the framework of the aims of the organisation.

NWMF delivers grassroots-led, front-line support services based on the identified need. It makes representations on behalf of its organisation’s membership to the public sector, to the private sector and to government. This includes consultation and policy advisory through our membership of the Racial Equality Sub-Group, Stronger Together, Equality Coalition and direct contribution to consultations.

Based in Cookstown, Rural Community Network’s vision is of vibrant, articulate, inclusive and sustainable rural communities across Northern
Ireland contributing to a prosperous, equitable, peaceful and stable society.

Its mission is to provide an effective voice for, and support to, rural communities, particularly those who are most disadvantaged.

Rural Community Network is committed to promoting fairness, equality and equity of opportunity and access, challenging discrimination (in all its forms) and valuing diversity.

It is a membership organisation and is managed by a voluntary Board of Directors, elected every two years. Two community representatives from each of the six counties make up the main component of the Network’s Board with statutory, voluntary, farming, environmental and other sectoral groups making up the rest.

Multi-Ethnic Sports and Cultures NI (MSCNI)

Multi Ethnic Sports and Cultural NI

Multi-Ethnic Sports and Cultures Northern Ireland (MSCNI) is a non-profit registered (NIC106476) charity organisation based in Belfast.

Founded in 2016, it started with a football tournament involving local kids, refugees, migrants and asylum seekers.

It has grown far beyond sports though and almost ten years on it is very much part of the Belfast fabric, bringing cultural activities such as drumming workshops, African dancing, poetry, singing and much more to the local community.

The principal purpose of MSCNI is to provide a welcoming safe space for people from the BAME communities within Northern Ireland, whilst fostering positive inter-racial and local community relationships.

Irish Network Against Racism (INAR)

Irish Network Against Racism (INAR) is a national network of nearly 160 anti-racism civil society organisations  that aims to work collectively to highlight and address racism in Ireland through the promotion and monitoring of Irish, EU and global trends and anti-racist initiatives.

The  Membership  of INAR is open to all civil society groups and organisations committed to diversity, equality and combating racism in Ireland.

INAR is an active member of the  European Network Against Racism  (ENAR) based in Brussels, a network of 160 organisations from 30 European States. INAR actively collaborates with the European Network Against Racism to coordinate research initiatives, campaigns and mobilisations, bringing a European dimension to Ireland and vice-versa.

Donegal Intercultural Platform clg is an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO) made up of individual members and affiliated organisations who are committed to building inclusion and equality in Donegal, in promoting human rights and challenging discrimination and racism.

It is part-funded by the Department of Rural and Community Development under the new Community Development Programme CDP.

Firmly committed to creating the conditions for a more inclusive, equal and anti-racist society, Donegal Intercultural Platform holds regular members’ meetings, workshops, trainings and events, all aimed at mobilising and supporting migrant communities across Donegal.
