THE first five shortlists for this year’s Advancing Race Equality Awards have now been revealed.
The shortlists were compiled by a six-strong panel of independent judges who spent time over Christmas whittling down the many entries sent in by the general public.
Among the shortlists now unveiled are the Anti-Racism Teacher of the Year (main photo above) plus:
Anti-Racism Leader of the Year:
Anti-Racism Media:
Anti-Racism School of the Year:
And Community Champion:
This week will see the remainder published – Advancing Racial Justice and Fairness and Young Leader. The Lifetime Achievement Award will be only be revealed on the night of the glittering ceremony, happening in the Ebrington Hotel on March 6.
