Effective Activism Summer School – Saturday 21st – Friday 27th August 2021 – LAUNCH

Supporting Intercommunity Practice.

Are you a young person with a passion for social justice and activism? Do you want to learn from activists and change-makers working in Northern Ireland’s civic society and community voluntary sector? If so, this 6 days Summer School is for you.

NWMF Summer School 2021

This programme is open to young people 13-24 from any background who want to understand the context for and learn the tools to effect change.

This is a summer school with a difference: you will join local activists, journalists, academics and politicians as you contribute directly to a country -wide movement of change.

We want you to share your experiences and knowledge in interactive and reflective sessions that invite you to think about Northern Ireland as an inclusive society that respects and appreciates diversity through its policies and practices.

Effective Activism Summer school offers a mixture of fun activities and informal intercultural learning. You can expect a variety of learning experiences and should plan to commit to 6 hours a day for 5 days to earn your space at the learning exchange trip to Lets Go Hydro in Belfast!
