A fun filled 3 days summer scheme suitable for ages 11 – 19 years
The NWMF summer adventure offers young people aged between 11 and 19 years an exciting range of educational , adventure and challenging activities for a period of 3 days. The summer scheme programme is especially designed to improve knowledge in diversity, cultural identity and life in Northern Ireland while fostering friendships in a fun but safe and controlled environment.
Priority will be given to young people from black and minority ethnic communities and Irish/British natives who are usually not attached to any community youth center/clubs.
Activities will include:
- Cultural Identity Workshops
- A trip to Belfast Zoo and W5
- Derry City Walk tour -Young people will Learn about the history, heritage and vibrant cultural scene in Derry-Londonderry

17th July 2015 : Time 10.00am – 12.30pm Venue: Glen-view community center
Introduction to cultural identity workshop
12.30- 13.45pm – Lunch
14.00pm- 16.00pm Derry walk tour (By Martin Crossan City Tour company)
18th July 2015 Time: 10.00am – 15:00pm – Venue ; Caw Nelson drive action group Cultural

8.00am – 17.00pm A trip to Belfast zoo and W5
Summer scheme is open to all young people from all communities living in the North West region of Northern Ireland. Places are very limited. Only those registered by the 10th of July 2015 will be allowed to take part. For young people between the ages of 11 and 17 years parental consent will be required. A parent consent form will be emailed to you or a copy can be collected at our offices at 25B William street BT48 6EP , Monday to Friday between 9.00am – 17.00pm
