North West Migrants Forum is organising a Family Beach Barbecue party for Syrian families in Derry-Londonderry!! We want to extend invitations to members of the public who would like to meet them or those who have already met them and want to have fun with them. The Barbecue beach Party will be held at Benone beach (picnic site) on the 3rd of September 2016. Benone beach is located at Benone Ave, Limavady BT49
We would encourage as many women as possible to wear Burkini’s to show support to our muslim women! Wear what you want! It’s a free world!!
The event is part of the Community And Refugee Encounter (CARE) project, a project for Derry city and Strabane district council delivered by the North West Migrants Forum to assist the welcome and integration of Syrian refugees.
